Richard Levychin, CPA, CGMA is the Managing Partner of KBL, LLP. Richard is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) with over 25 years of accounting, auditing, business advisory services, and tax experience working with both privately owned and publicly held entities in various industries including financial services, media, entertainment, sports, real estate, oil and gas, not-for-profit, technology, and professional services. His experience also includes expertise with SEC filings, initial public offerings, and compliance with regulatory bodies.
He has written articles on a wide range of topics, which have been featured in several periodicals including Dollars and Sense, New York Enterprise Report, Black Enterprise Magazine, and The Network Journal. He has also conducted seminars on a wide range of business topics including SEC matters and taxation, for several organizations including the Black Enterprise Entrepreneurs Conference and the Learning Annex.
Richard is a member of several organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals, the National Association of Black Accountants, the Association of Latin Professionals in Finance and Accounting, and the United States Hispanic Advocacy Association. Richard is the co-chairperson of EO 2030, an initiative of the New York Chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization, a dynamic, global network of more than 8,000 business owners in over 40 countries, for which he has served as a Board Member. Richard is a past winner of The Network Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40” award. Richard is currently a member of national commission for diversity and inclusion of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) the 380,000 member global accounting membership organization. In 2009 Richard was admitted to the United States Hispanic Advocacy Association’s 2009 National Business Council (NBC) Fellows.
Richard is a graduate of Baruch College, and started his career with a Big Four CPA firm.

Stewart Robinson, CPA, ABV, CFE, CGMA is a partner with KBL concentrating in tax and management accounting consulting to emerging businesses, both private and public, as well as tax planning for high net worth individuals. He has significant expertise in fair value measurement and complex corporate equity instruments. Additionally, he heads up the firm’s litigation consulting and valuation group.
Stewart was previously a manager in the emerging businesses division of a Big Four international accounting firm. He is Accredited in Business Valuation, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. Stewart was trained in complex tax matters at Pace University Graduate School of Business and completed extensive business valuation training at both the American Society of Appraisers and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts as well as fraud examination training at the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. |

Sanjay Singla, CPA, CGMA, MBA, MSC is an audit partner in KBL’s Assurance and Advisory Services Group with over 15 years of experience in accounting, auditing, business advisory services, and taxation. Sanjay oversees KBL’s Not-For-Profit Group. Sanjay started his career at Nestle, progressed to Pfizer, and worked at a Big Four CPA firm before joining KBL.
As an audit partner he works closely with clients in both the private and public sectors. His focus is on initial public offerings, SEC filings, taxation, and not for profit organizations. His expertise lies in conducting external audits to ascertain the validity and reliability of information that then provides the basis for an opinion on a company’s financial statements, and an assessment of its internal controls.
Sanjay is a proponent of giving back to the community. Accordingly, he contributes his time, money, and effort in assisting various non-profit organizations and provides accounting services to underrepresented communities.
Sanjay is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as licensed to practice as a certified public accountant in New York. Sanjay has an MBA with a concentration in Finance and a Master’s degree in Computer Sciences. |

Michael Pollack, CPA is the partner-in-charge of KBL’s Corporate Finance Group. Michael is also the partner-in-charge of KBL’s SEC practice and quality control, and the partner-in-charge of KBL’s Public Company (SEC) Practices Group. He has over twenty years of experience in public accounting and consulting to over 100 publicly traded and 250 private companies. He also has vast knowledge of capital financing, debt refinancing, strategic repositioning, development restructuring, and private placement offerings. Michael’s specialties include reverse merger transactions and the initial registration process for the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Michael has been a director in regional firms specializing in the development and growth of their SEC practice. He has directed various SEC engagements as well as financial service engagements, and has been utilized as an outsourced CFO for a number of small public companies.
Michael has audited as well as prepared audits in accordance with the standards established by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, and has prepared numerous market and financial feasibility studies that directly led to the raising of $1.5 billion dollars in financing.
Michael graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics. Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland. |

Frank Sánchez Ruiz, CPA, CMA, CIA, CGFM, is the Co-Chairman of KBL’s Government Services Practice Group. KBL’s Government Services Practice Group combines the resources of KBL and the CPA firm Kreston TLSR, LLC. Kreston TLSR is one of the larger CPA firms in Puerto Rico.
Frank has over 28 years of public accounting experience working in a variety of fields including, manufacturing, hotel (leisure time), retail and wholesale, insurance, pension and welfare funds, employees’ retirement plans, construction, waste disposal, low rental housing, and government, including audits of federal financial assistance programs, federal grant aid audits, Single Audits, HUD audits, compliance, monitoring, and general government accounting.
Frank is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in New York, New Jersey, and Puerto Rico. He is also licensed as a Certified Management Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Government Financial Manager, and a PR Real Estate Broker. Frank is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Association of Government Accountants, the New York, New Jersey and Puerto Rico Societies of Certified Public Accountants. Frank is also a Peer Reviewer under the AICPA Peer Review Program.

Luis Torres Llompart, CPA, CFE, is the Co-Chairman of KBL’s Government Services Practice Group. KBL’s Government Services Practice Group combines the resources of KBL and the CPA firm Kreston TLSR, LLC. Kreston TLSR is one of the larger CPA firms in Puerto Rico.
Luis has over 30 years of public accounting experience working in a variety of fields including, manufacturing, hotel (leisure time), retail and wholesale, insurance, pension and welfare funds, and construction.
Luis is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Puerto Rico. He is also licensed as a Certified Fraud Examiner. Luis is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Luis is a former Vice Chairman of the United State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Delegate of the White House Conference on Small Business Administration. He has also served as the Chairman of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce and the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants.
